FOX 2 - St. Louis App Reviews

Illinois and Missouri each have a county named Jefferson but your weather warnings dont separate them. Please fix this. With all the recent bad weather this is important to know which areas have warnings. Otherwise, I like the updated look.

Not happy you can only view in vertical position on phone. Previous version let you view both vertical and horizontal.

If I could rate a zero star I would have. This app just updated and I was excited to see videos that work well. As in you dont have intermittent ads start in the middle of a video. Right after I updated brought up app and the layout is completely sideways and doesnt rotate. Sure I could turn my screen, but why should I when KSDK and KMOV apps work perfectly fine. First world problems at their finest. Do yourself a favor and download the KMOV app. This one is in the immortal words of Shaquille Oneal "Horrawful" (look it up on google)

You guys totally wrecked this app with the new update. It was perfect the way it was before, in other words you turned gold into crap!! I truly hope you change it back, fox 2 has always been my number one choice for my news source, but if this is the way you plan to keep it, Im going to have to look into deleting this app and checking out the other local ones.

Why did you change an app that worked very good to a piece of junk? I tried to look at in on cellular and it wouldnt open because you have to many ads and large pictures. Speaking of ads, really a large company has to use a free app with ads? I tried to look at it at home on wifi and I couldnt even get to every story without 2 ads opening. Im dumping this piece of crap app! I wish I could put -5 stars.

Floating banner always in the way. Limited screen space taken up by weather app download banner.

You went from hero to zero with one update. Just plain awful with one or 2 lines of story.

Who tested this release? Will not rotate on an IPad. Used to use the old app all the time. Wont use this one until it is fixed. Very poor execution.

What in the world are you thinking? An iPad app that doesnt rotate to landscape view? Wow. No more news from your station.

Loved Loved this app....then I updated it to the new one and now it is no where to be found on my screen, but shows up in my settings but cant be opened. I never even had the chance to see the updated version

WE WILL FORGIVE YOU! Everyone needs a mulligan sometimes. This update took a lean, fast and usable news site and turned it into a dense, heavy and confusing mess. Highly undesirable. I will no longer use this app until the update to return to SIMPLE has been deployed.

Why fix something thats not broke? You dont need my location services and its bunk that theres no way to by pass it. Hello KMOV app.

Dont waste your time downloading.

DO NOT UPGRADE to the new version. One slip of your finger and youre redirected to the App Store to download some stupid, annoying game. What a $hitty move, Fox 2.

The new update is awful. I am sent to ads often from accidentally touching an ad while scrolling. Even more frustrating is that after reading the news I have to then open up the separate weather so to read the weather blog. Which by the way redirects to safari to see the complete blog. All of this used to be on one user friendly app. Im not inclined to use this app again unless changes are made in the future.

Ever since the update....it went down hill, fast. Actually it was an instant smack into a wall. The new layout was better its just THE ADS!!! I barely touch one just scrolling down and all of a sudden Im on some internet site commercial or something. Also they hid ads in with the "Top news" stories making them look like a story just so you click on one. You have to now click on just "News" so ads arent mixed in...but when youre watching videos youll still get an AD in the middle out of no where. I got rid of it, maybe channel 5 news app will be better. Sorry Fox...

Fox 2 ruined a good app with this update.

The new layout was better, graphics were nice, but every time I tried to read an article Id be sent to another site or the App Store to download. It was too much work just to try and scroll down to read an entire article. Not cool!

Crashes all the time specially when on commercial break. Also, video will not rotate when watching "live."

Im about to delete this app due to the ads on the pages. Its almost impossible to not accidentally click on an ad which takes you to a new webpage out side the app. Super annoyed and Im done.
